What types of car does the Minister Duratec engine fit into?

Minister Power have developed a range of high performance Duratec engines which share many of the same tuning components, therefore the units can be configured for many applications, typically, sports cars, single seaters and saloon cars. Versions of the engines can be adapted to suit current SVA legislation.

Engine installation in most modern applications require the engine to be as compact as possible and utilise every available space. Clutch mechanism is no exception, and whilst a cable operated clutch can be used, the majority of applications to date use a annular hydraulic system.

We recommend a 15w/50 good quality oil e.g. Mobil 1 Motorsport. Caterham cars recommend COMMA products.

To get the best driving position, you may need to adjust the throttle pedal, however you must ensure a throttle pedal stop is used in order not to stretch the cable.
