Minister Racing Engines (MRE) was founded on the principles of innovation, engineering excellence and customer service.

MRE has successfully worked in collaboration with a number of leading car manufacturers, for example Ford Motor Company, Cosworth, Ginetta, Caterham Cars, MG Rover, etc.,

Championships and races world wide have been won using Minister-Power.

Minister Racing Engines made their name building Championship winning engines for the highly competitive Formula Ford category. Since those early days the range of engines has expanded to embrace tuning of many popular makes.  

Adopting new techniques and pioneering new technical challenges has seen consistent success through the years, particularly when we are tasked to adapt a motor manufacturers road car product for competition purposes.Often this requires the conversion to be made to strict criteria incorporating original components and bespoke parts at minimal cost. MRE can call upon years of expertise to acheive this.

Engine management is continually evolving and having  worked with many leading ECU companies including MOTEC,MBE, EFI,PECTEL, EMERALD we have the experience to choose the right system to suit the particular application.
Dry sump design, gas flowing, balancing are all done in-house.
A major part of any development programme is the time spent on the Dynamometers. Minister Racing Engines have both a Superflow engine dyno and Rototest Hub Dyno. 

Often the majority of development is carried out on the engine Dyno, but the Rototest allows the fine tuning of the engine in the car, therefore producing a refined product that will need less circuit validation and gives the final customer assurance the car is producing the expected performance.    

The Superflow Engine dyno and the Rototest hub Dyno allows thorough testing of the engine in and out of the car.
 
The experience gained and the flexibility of our Engine Dynamometer and In Chassis Dynamometer equipment can produce accurate and prompt information, aiding customers to achieve their targets.
