Minister Racing Engines actively pursue enviromentally responsible and sustainable methods of powering race cars. We became an official Energy Efficient Motorsport Partner (EEMS) in 2007.
For all forms of Motorsport to have a future, practical and cost effective alternatives have to be found, be it Bio Fuels or Electric Vehicles.
Minister Racing Engines welcomes like minded organisations to develop this strategy with them.

In 2007, as a part of showing practical uses of Bio fuels in Club level motorsport, a grid of Caterham Roadsport cars used Minister-Power tuned MG/Rover K Series engines.
The cars covered thousands of trouble free miles in testing, qualifying and races using the Bio Fuel known as E85, which is a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% petrol.
The Championship was the first UK Race Series where the entire grid ran on Bio Fuel.
During the research into alternative fuels Minister Racing Engines have mapped and tested a variety of popular engines to run on bio fuel.
