Ginetta G50
Developed with Minister-Power

Ginetta Cars, in collaboration with Minister-Power, developed the Ford V6 engine which powered the first ever Ginetta G50 Cup car.  Since those earliest days there have been continual development which now sees a range of engines to suit the G50 Cup car, GT4, G55 and most recently the GT3 car.

From the first discussions about suitable engines, to the car racing and achieving podium positions in FIA GT4 races took only five months.  Since then this engine has achieved outstanding success and has covered thousands of competition miles.

From the earliest computer generated image to the latest Ginetta GT3 car the Ford V6 engine in 3.5 litre and 3.7 litre format has been the chosen engine package.
